Rules & Regulations

Members of Silver Lining Roleplay will conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Failure to show respect to anyone in our Community regardless of rank/position will result in disciplinary action that could include permanent removal from Silver Lining Roleplay. No member shall put down another member.

We are all here to embrace a realistic fun roleplay - any actions that are deemed unprofessional will result in disciplinary action that could result in removal from Silver Lining Roleplay.

Falsifying any information will result in permanent ban from Silver Lining Roleplay; this includes but not limited to - Real name / Age / Experience / Real life background / Reports of misconduct.

Administration decisions on disciplinary action are non-negotiable.

Silver Lining Roleplay reserves the right to permanently ban any individual without reason.

Due to the maturity required and content of certain roleplay scenes, Silver Lining Roleplay enforces the following age restrictions (may be waived case by case):

• Civilian Role: 16+ years old
• Law Enforcement Role: 17+ years old
• Dispatcher Role: 16+ years old
• Fire/Paramedic Role: 16+ years old

*Lying on any application will result in permanent ban from Silver Lining Roleplay.

All content that is Silver Lining Roleplay specific shall be kept internally. It is not permitted to give out any Silver Lining content to non-members which includes but not limited to: FiveM Server, Teamspeak Server, Discord, Procedures, and Files. Members caught distributing information to non-members or using the content for their own gain will be permanently banned.

Streaming/Recording any interview, training, meeting, or private event in Silver Lining Roleplay is prohibited. Members are allowed to Stream/Record patrols only after they fill out and submit the proper Media Content Developer Disclosure form located in our private discord.

No member may watch any other members active stream to gain additional information that wouldn't be available during the actual roleplay; this is sometimes referred to as 'stream sniping'.

Dual-Clanning (belonging to multiple FiveM 'Interview/Application Based' Communities) is permitted at Silver Lining Roleplay with special conditions. We ask that if you are a member of another whitelisted community that you prioritize SLRP during SLRP patrol hours and not be apart of Chain of Command (Staff) of either location.

If activity issues are mixed with being observed playing other communities during SLRP patrol hours, SLRP may terminate membership. Members must disclose belonging to a whitelisted community to their CoC and/or at the time of the interview.

SLRP reserves the right to declare any other FiveM/FivePD/ERS community blacklisted for its membership. If this decision is executed, membership will be given the option to leave that server or SLRP.

Silver Lining Roleplay utilizes the English language; members must be able to speak English fluently and clearly to ensure roleplay situations are properly understood.

Silver Lining Roleplay is based in the United States of America and normally starts patrols around 7pm EST / 6pm CST / 4pm PST lasting onward for several hours. Members must be able to attend patrol to stay active in the community.

Failure to Patrol within a 14 day period will be subject to removal. Leave of Absences are available for short-term situations.

Potential candidates to join Silver Lining Roleplay must have at minimum the following equipment:

• Legal/Legit copy of Grand Theft Auto V for PC (except Dispatch/COM)
• PC can run the game unimpeded
• Reliable Internet Connection preferably 25+ MBPS
• Speak English clearly // Spelling & Grammar of English proficiently
• PC Headset with Microphone (USB is best)
• Keyboard and Mouse
• Basic knowledge of computers - you may be new to FiveM, that is workable

Members shall not actively go after members of other communities to attempt recruitment to Silver Lining Roleplay. This is not professional; if the potential member wants to join, Silver Lining Roleplay wants them to do it on their own will.

Additionally members shall not recruit SLRP members to join any other community/game structure. To avoid the feeling of recruitment, streaming any public/private FiveM/FivePD server in our SLRP Discord is prohibited.

Our community does not endorse/allow political discussion. We want our community to be a place of relaxation and fun thus allowing serious roleplay without getting into the weeds of politics.

Members found discussing political items inside the community are subject to removal.

All community rules and regulations must be followed inside Discord at all times. Members must display their 'nickname' inside Discord in the appropriate format listed at the #start-here page. No picture (including profile picture), comment or link posted in discord shall show disrespect or unprofessionalism.

Self-Promoting of a members own discord, products, social media, etc. is strictly prohibited. Do not @ staff/members trying to get attention; only for extreme situations is this permitted.

Leaving the Discord server without warning/notice of intentions to return back will be treated as leaving the community.

All community rules and regulations must be followed inside Teamspeak at all times. Members must display their 'nickname' inside Teamspeak in the same format as Discord.

Members must utilize a headset and microphone for use within teamspeak. The use of external speakers for teamspeak audio or use of Teamspeak on a mobile device is not allowed due to bleed over and quality. PTT (Push-to-Talk) must always be enabled.

Main RTO (Radio Traffic Only) patrol channels shall be kept sterile for radio traffic/patrol only; utilize the community discussion room for non-RTO chat.

All community rules and regulations must be followed inside the FiveM server at all times. Members shall utilize the FiveM server for Silver Lining Roleplay related business only (ie: active patrol or setting up a character prior to patrol). Members shall not utilize the FiveM server for 'goofing off'.

Members shall utilize a headset for game audio with a microphone for in-game voice chat. Due to the potential 'bleed over' of in-game audio over external speakers, members must use a headset.

Members must follow their respective department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Steam names must display their profile name in the same format as Discord.

Being professional and respectful are required. Roleplay situations shall be well-thought out and considerate of potentially offending a member.

Chain of Command (CoC) will be followed at all times. Members that may hold seniority but no direct CoC position shall not have any say over another non-CoC member.

Members must always patrol on their main department first; if a member wishes to patrol as their 'reserve' department, Field Operation Supervisors or higher permission is required to ensure proper balance.

'Cheating' roleplay situations by any means will not be tolerated (ie: teleporting, invisible listening etc.) and will result in disciplinary action.

If a member has a problem with another member during patrol, if the situation can wait, it is expected to be reported after the conclusion of patrol.

Streaming or Recording of media for personal or broadcasting use must be approved by Administration after member completes a Media Content Form. Please note that we usually wait 3-4 weeks until giving recording/streaming access to members as this ensures we get to know you and your roleplay.

NO Streaming/Recording of any interview or training session is allowed.

Members are not allowed to play copyright music/clips etc during patrol.

Any applicant/member that applies/joins Silver Lining Roleplay acknowledges they have read the rules document in its entirety and accepts to following this document as well as any other supporting document for this roleplay community.

• Failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations may result in permanent ban from the community.
• Silver Lining Roleplay reserves the right to permanently ban any member without cause.
• Lying or providing incorrect information on any application will result in a permanent denial from the community.
• You are required to disclose all dual-clanning and media stream information at the time of application.
• By submitting any application, Silver Lining Roleplay will keep your information on file for future use.
• Applicant/Member understands this is completely fictitious (fake) and solely a roleplay community only.
